Hello, in this video I will show you how to adjust some power settings in Windows 10 to prevent your computer from going to sleep.
You want to go to your control panel and select on “power options”.
This is Windows 10. What you’re looking for here is “putting the computer to sleep”.
You want to have “never” and also you want to change the power.
Look at your power settings here and make sure that you go to your USB settings and make sure that your selective suspend setting is “disabled”.
You do not want individual ports to fall asleep on you, so you disable that and select “apply” and select “ok”. So that is the particular setting.
The next thing you need to notice is the windows update.
If it does that automatically, it’s going to shut off your software.
You can turn off the Wi-Fi signal and don’t check for updates and dedicate this specific computer strictly to running the software.
That is one thing you definitely want to do to prevent your software from turning off with an automatic update because your computer will reboot itself when that happens.
Alright, thanks for watching.
