Hi everyone.

In this episode of SAMA, Margie Bissinger discussed bone health.

Margie is a physical therapist who has worked with clients in the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis for over 20 years. She is the author of Osteoporosis: An Exercise Guide, which has sold over 100,000 copies. Margie helps people achieve optimal bone and overall health through whole foods, exercise, mind-body relaxation techniques, and happiness training. She is a member of the NJ Interagency Council on Osteoporosis and an Ambassador to the National Osteoporosis Foundation.

Margie analyzed the changes in bone density as we age. People鈥檚 living habits greatly affect bone health. This is a problem facing not only the elderly but also many young people. Instead of spending money on various health products, Margie recommended many natural foods for nutrients and minerals, such as milk, leafy greens, sardines, and salmon. Exercise and strength training relieves stress, an important factor for bone health.

During this interview, Margie shared:
路 How osteoporosis affects our daily life.
路 The importance of food and exercise for healthy bone.
路 The role of stress in osteoporosis.

Bone health problems can cause a lot of inconvenience to our lives and even shorten our lifespans. But we are not powerless. Through this episode of SAMA, you will learn diet and exercise plans, which will allow you to have strong bones naturally.
