This video will show you how to load and run Terrain Protocol using GeneratorX. You can load presets into GX and use GX standalone. Terrain Protocol is a preset chain which includes 15 presets, so we need to load these presets one by one into GX.
First, I will show you how to load a single preset in Terrain Protocol into GX. I have GX detected by Spooky2 software. I go to Presets tab, choose Detox, Remote, Terrain (R) – BY, then go to Control tab, tick Allow Generator Overwrites, and choose a generator button. Click Load button here, then double click a place to load the first preset. Click Save button. This preset has been loaded into GX.
Now we can load the second preset into GX. I go to Presets tab, choose Detox, Remote, Terrain (R) – BY, then go to Control tab, tick Allow Generator Overwrites, and choose a generator button to load Terrain Protocol. As we need to load the second preset of Terrain Protocol, so I enter 2 after Preset here, then click the Control tab, you will see now it shows 2. Remove Metals, which is the second preset. Then I click Load button, then double click the second place to load the new preset. Click Save button. The second preset has been loaded into GX. You can load the remaining presets into GX in the way. If you would like to load the 6th preset into GX, you enter 6 after Preset, then click Control tab to refresh the loading preset.
For your ease of use, we have prepared a GX memory file for terrain protocol for you. You only need to download it and paste it to your GX. The entire protocol will be transferred to your GX.
Now I will show you how to paste the memory file to your GX. I have downloaded the GX memory file into my desktop. Now I go to the Control tab, click Paste, then choose GenMem4, and open it.
After all the presets are loaded, you can unplug GX from your computer and restart your GX. You can see all you loaded presets in GX. Now I will show you how to run a single preset with GX. I click G1, choose 1. Remove Metals, press the Start button, then press the Loop button to run this preset continuously. If you run Terrain Protocol with Spooky2 software, each preset runs for 24hours, then the second preset will run automatically. However, with GX, after the first preset running for 24hours, you need to stop the program manually. And choose the second preset to run another 24hours, then choose the third preset to run. The operation of running the remaining presets is the same.
